Always, Think Like a CEO

Today, we busy IT people are so involved in completing the Manager or Client assigned task by the end of the day. In this process we are mismatching the companies vision. This is one the reasons why companies EBITA will not grow as they expected. To simplify this, in the short terms companies are not making profitable business year on year. But being associate we expect good hikes every year, whether the company is doing good or bad, it doesn't matter for us. If not we will switch the company. This one simple thought made me think and forced me to write this blog.

As an associate we have every possible right to grow either by switching the company or taking promotion in the same company. But, is the same company which you are working is growing with you?  This is something we should think as-well. We may grow till certain point of time. But, after some experience added to your profile you will be equally associated with the company performance. At this point of time you should possess and learn the ability of being a leader. As your experience grow you should be in a leadership position to understand the mission and vision of the company. In short you should be a "visionary person"

Associates will only grow unless they understand the vision of the company. It's our right to think for the company to grow, similarly as you want to grow in your professional and personal life.

We have seen few scenario and Analyst reports, where the companies are not performing and not doing good business for few quarters. I would say, its not one CEO responsibility of that company, its every individual who are associated with that company. The growth of the company will only depend on the every individual of that company. Hence, its your responsibility to make the company grow by only one important weapon by "Thinking like a CEO".

We will get in to some tough situations, rather being a silent spectator be a visionary leader. Think like its your problem. May one day when time comes you would be in a position to tackle the company you are working for or you will be owning your own company.


So don't work for 9  to 6 job. Rather work with passion, as this is your company and you are the CEO of the company. Its always good to "Think Like A CEO".
